Senior Medical Interpreter

Empowering students. Expanding opportunities. Preparing future leaders.
The Senior Mediceal Program provides accredited 40-hour professional interpreter training to bilingual high school seniors, equipping them with essential skills to support communication in healthcare settings. Designed as a pilot for the 2024–2025 school year, the program empowers students to serve underserved communities, build transferable career skills, and explore pathways in healthcare and language services while helping bridge critical language gaps in their communities.
Our Commitment

The Clark County Equity Coalition is committed to creating opportunities that empower students, strengthen communities, and improve equitable access to healthcare services. Through the Senior Medical Interpreter Program, we are dedicated to training the next generation of bilingual professionals by providing accredited interpreter education, career pathways, and real-world skills that make a lasting impact.
We believe every individual deserves access to clear, culturally responsive communication in healthcare settings. By investing in young leaders and supporting underserved communities, we are building a stronger, more inclusive future for Clark County and beyond.
